What types of wire do you buy?

We buy every type of electrical wire: THHN, XHHW, USE-2, MC Cable, SO/SOW Cable, Tray Cable, Romex, SER/SEU, URD, welding cable, medium voltage (5kV-35kV), high voltage, fire alarm, control cable, bare copper, bare aluminum, and more. Copper and aluminum, any gauge from #14 AWG to 750 MCM.

Do you pay more than scrap value?

Yes — significantly more. We are not a scrap yard. We pay based on the resale value of usable electrical wire, which is substantially higher than scrap copper or aluminum pricing. Your wire is worth more as wire than as metal.

What condition does the wire need to be in?

We buy new surplus, used, and pulled wire. Full reels, partial spools, off-spool cuts, and even wire pulled from demolitions. As long as the insulation is intact and the wire is usable, we want to buy it.

Do you cover shipping/freight?

Yes. We arrange and pay for all freight costs from your location anywhere in the United States. You pay nothing for shipping.

How fast do you provide quotes?

We respond to all inquiries the same business day. In most cases, you'll have a firm offer within a few hours of contacting us.

How do I get paid?

We pay the same day. No fees, no commissions — the amount we quote is the amount you receive.

What is the minimum quantity?

We buy any quantity from a single reel to full truckloads. However, larger quantities typically receive better per-foot pricing due to freight economics.

Where do you buy wire?

We buy electrical wire in all 50 states and over 7,500 cities. We serve the entire United States with local pickup arranged at our cost.

What sources of wire do you buy from?

We buy from every source: canceled construction projects, demolition jobs, finished projects with leftover material, overstock orders, parcel spools, off-spools, warehouse liquidations, plant closures, and contractor surplus inventory.

How is your price determined?

Our pricing is based on current secondary market resale values for the specific wire type, gauge, and condition. This is almost always significantly higher than scrap metal pricing because we resell wire as usable electrical material.
